Your kindness directly impacts our programming.

Circle of Friends School is a 501(c)(3). Your tax-deductible donation will allow us to purchase equipment and continue our Sunshine-In-A-Box programming, and will allow us to plan for in-person camps and events when it is safe to do so.

No act of kindness is too small. We are grateful to partner with you in serving children with complex needs in Lane County.

On March 27, 2020, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was overwhelmingly passed by Congress to assist the economy as we navigate through COVID-19. This positively impacts Circle of Friends as the CARES Act encourages philanthropy through enhanced charitable giving incentives for both individuals and corporations.

The adjusted gross income (AGI) limit for cash contributions was increased for individual donors. For cash contributions made in 2020, you can now elect to deduct up to 100 percent of your AGI (increased from 60 percent).

The CARES Act allows for an additional, “above-the-line” deduction for charitable gifts made in cash of up to $300. If you are not itemizing on your 2020 taxes, you can claim this new deduction.

*Please note, the information above is NOT legal or tax advice. Please consult an attorney or tax advisor to learn more about how the CARES Act impacts you or your organization.
